Gerontological Nursing Academic Capacity Annual Survey

Annual Survey 2012

In 2009, the Hartford Geriatric Nursing Initiative developed a survey in response to a national demand for building academic geriatric nursing capacity and as a resource for students, fellows and others looking to match up with outstanding programs nationwide. The survey has been published annually in the journal Research in Gerontological Nursing. With the assistance of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, an invitation to participate in the survey was issued to schools of nursing across the country.

This year we are very excited to announce that the NHCGNE has assumed the responsibility of publishing the 2012 Annual Survey. The survey provides a rich snapshot of gerontological academic nursing programs and will serve as an excellent resource for students, fellows, and others committed to careers in the field.
