There are several options for geriatric care in the community-owned health system.  It offers in-home nursing, supported living, rehab, and medical equipment to those in need of these services.

There is a Geriatric Education program that offers CNA, clinical skills, and personalized care provider training. Care and safety for patients are among the subjects covered in the CNA education program’s nursing assistant skills and procedures. Also included are topics such as restorative care and cleanliness. Patients of different ages and health situations are also taught to students.

Extensive hours in the lab and clinical experience are all options as well as traditional classroom instruction and training. Avanza CNA Training

As a provider of caregiver and nursing assistant training, Avanza is a family-owned and run business in the local community. After completing the CNA training program, students are supposed to perform fundamental CNA tasks and functions, such as patient-centered communication, showering, dressing, feeding, and promoting patient hygiene; movement assistance, medical devices handling and storage, vital signs taking and supervising, fundamental housekeeping (changing linens), physician specimen/data gathering, and relaying messages and responding patient calls.

Only 80 hours of training are required for students. There are 40 hours of theoretical seminars, 20 hours of hands-on dexterity practice, and 20 hours of clinical experience in this course. BEO Personal Care Certified Nurse Aide Training

CNA Full Immersion Course was designed to assist students to succeed in their chosen careers by providing them with a thorough education. Nursing, PNPs, Physical Therapists, and Clinical Psychologists are the lecturers of this course.

Those with no prior background in healthcare will benefit greatly from the full-immersion course. The training is ten days long, with theoretical sessions, skill labs, and clinical experience all taking place throughout that time.

There are both day and night classes available. On Mondays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a. a.m. to 4:30 p.m., courses meet for two weeks for the theory and lab component of the course. Mondays are reserved for nine labs and pre-clinical exercises the third week in a row. The final test and preparation for the state certification exam will take place the last Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., are designated as clinical practice days.

At 4 weeks, evening courses are the longest. The first three weeks of classes are held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Saturdays and Sundays, the fourth-week schedule is from 6:00 am until 6:30 pm for clinical experience, Monday through Wednesday from 5 pm until 9 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 6 am until 6:30 pm.

In order to participate in BEO, current high school students must be at least 18 years of age. They must pay a non-refundable deposit and fill out an application before they may go on with the process.

There is no further charge for textbooks and workbooks, CPR certification training, and background checks. TB skin tests and scrubbing are also included. As part of this fee, you’ll get everything you need to prepare for your clinical rotations and state tests.
