There are over a dozen state approved LPN training programs in Maryland. These programs are often offered at community colleges. You will need to meet all entrance requirements to enter into a training program. The program will prepare you not only for your career as an LPN but also to sit for the necessary licensing exam.
A lot of different material will be covered during LPN training. You will learn about the biological sciences. There will be nursing fundamental courses. The course will provide you with the background information you need to be a good nurse. There will then be clinical experience where you will rotate and work in many different departments.

Community College of Baltimore County Dundalk Campus is located right next to Franklin Square Hospital in the Rossville area. The Nursing program at Community College of Baltimore County Dundalk is a 12-month 3-semester course with a balanced combination of classroom and clinical instruction.
