This is a university that cares deeply about the education and training of its nursing students. Both clinical courses and laboratories at JHSON have low student-to-faculty ratios. It offers the nation’s first Baccalaureate Peace Corps Fellows Program in nursing. As high as 75% of the PhD students at JHSON receive external funding for research once they reach the dissertation stage.

The Nursing School at Johns Hopkins has 70 full-time faculty and 117 part-time members. It has fewer faculty members than many of the top 10 schools of nursing, yet the faculty is viewed as very well trained and highly productive. JH University offers programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. There are two Baccalaureate programs available: the 2-year traditional program and the 13.5 month accelerated program.
